21st APRIL 2016, KINGS ARMS SALFORD
Industry Sounds is inspired by a love and passion for music and of course the creative industry we all work in. We believe there is a wonderful relationship between the two worlds - Industry Sounds is our way of celebrating this.
The event, which took place at Paul Heaton's Kings Arms brought together members of the creative design and marketing community to showcase their musical prowess for a night of great music, great company and all for a great cause.
The Rainband formed in 2010 by front man Martin Finnigan and guitarist Phil Rainey. In 2011 the guys had become an established name in Manchester following tours and supports with legendary acts such as Simple Minds, Ocean Colour Scene and The Kaiser Chiefs. Their single 'Rise Again' entered the top 10 indie charts on its release in June 2012. 'Rise Again' also broke through in Italy, remaining fourteen weeks in the Virgin charts and peaking at no.5.
The Rainband played the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2015 with the legendary Fleetwood Mac, before touring across Europe with Paolo Nutini.
2016 see the band announce their much anticipated debut album 'Satellite Sunrise' and embark on a Spring Tour to take their new tracks out to venues across the UK. The Rainband are no strangers to the music industry with high praise plaudits from Paolo Nutini and both Liam and Noel Gallagher.
"These boys are one the finest bands you could see... I love the new sound."
